The left fears shame as a form of coercion.
But what is the source of that shame? It is the result of one's inability to meet the morality of their society. The left seems to believe that it is best to remove morality and embrace immorality so as to avoid shame.
I disagree.
There is no shame in striving for morality and falling short. The real shame is in embracing immorality while accusing those who strive for morality and fall short of hypocrisy.
